If your skin is struggling,
this is where to start.
Sensitive skin
Skin that reacts to most products, flushes easily, or feels tight and uncomfortable after cleansing. Calm gives sensitive skin exactly what it needs and nothing that might set it off.
Eczema-prone skin
Calendula has been used to support eczema-prone skin for centuries. Its anti-inflammatory properties calm flares, reduce itching, and support the compromised barrier that allows moisture to escape and irritants to enter.
Reactive and barrier-compromised skin
Over-exfoliated, stressed, or post-treatment skin that needs to rebuild. Calm is the product to reach for when your skin barrier has been disrupted and needs to recover before you reintroduce anything else.
How to use Calm
Use it morning, night, or both. On its own or layered. There are no rules with Calm, just what feels right for your skin.
"A little goes a long way. Two drops is usually enough. Warm it in your palms first."
-
1
Cleanse gently first
Use Melt or your gentlest cleanser. If your skin is very reactive even cleansing can be a trigger — keep it short and use lukewarm water, never hot.
-
2
Mist with Dew if you use it
If you use Dew mist apply it now on slightly damp skin. Calm absorbs beautifully on damp skin. If Dew is too many ingredients for your skin right now skip it — Calm works on dry skin too.
Optional — Calm works alone -
3
Two drops warmed in your palms
Rub palms together to warm the oil — it absorbs faster and more evenly when warm. Press gently into your face and neck. No rubbing, no pulling — just press and hold for 10 seconds.
-
4
Let it absorb — do not layer over it
If Calm is your only product let it sit for 60 seconds and you are done. If your skin is very dry you can layer a gentle moisturizer on top after it absorbs. In the morning follow with SPF.
